Target Species

Besides the highly regarded Bronze Whaler Shark, there are other shark species available. These can include Seven Gilled Cow Sharks, Spotted Gulley Sharks, Smoothounds, Sand Sharks and various species of Cat Sharks.  Also available are Eagle Rays and Blue Stingrays.
 		  


As well as the shark species, there are good specimens of 'edible' fish such as Kabeljou, Steenbra, Galjoen and Black Tail.

Whilst the Bronze Whaler Shark is mainly a summer fish (October to May), Spotted Gulley Sharks and all edible species can be caught year round. They all provide top fishing fun and this year, excellent specimens of all species have already been landed with Sea Ace Guides in assistance.
